Energy Assistance Program (EAP)
Alameda Municipal Power's (AMP) Energy Assistance Program (EAP) offers our eligible income-qualified residential customers a 25% discount on their monthly energy costs.
- The 25% discount applies to energy and customer charges. Utility users tax and any other applicable fees or taxes are excluded.
- Customers who participate in EAP may also receive support via AMP's Project EASE program, which provides short-term emergency assistance to income-eligible residential customers.
- Customers who qualify for both EAP and the Medical Discount program participate in EAP as it provides the most comprehensive benefits. Customers cannot receive both discounts.
