AMP's financial assistance programs can help reduce your electric bill now, tomorrow and for years to come. We understand that during these difficult times, some of our customers may ﬁnd it challenging to pay their electric bill. Learn about AMP's Energy Assistance and Project EASE programs, and Alameda County Housing Secure's COVID-19 program, which includes utility payment relief.
COVID-19 Utility Payments Relief-Alameda County Housing Secure: Qualified applicants can use this program to pay off any past due balances on their electric bills.
Energy Assistance Program (EAP): Offers qualified residential customers a 25% discount on their monthly costs.
Project EASE: Provides short-term emergency assistance to residential customers.
Note: Customers who are already receiving the 25% discount under EAP no longer qualify for Project EASE assistance.
Eligibility for both programs is based on your household gross income level and household size. The chart below will help you determine if you qualify.

To demonstrate eligibility, you will need to show proof of income for all adults permanently residing in the household and provide supporting documentation.

- CalFresh (food stamps)
- CalWorks (cash aid)
- General Assistance
- Individual Retirement Account (IRA)/annuities
- Spousal/Child Support
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)/Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI)/Social Security Administration (SSA)
- Unemployment Compensation
- Veteran's Benefits
- Wages and/or income from self-employment
- Worker's Compensation
