Alameda Municipal Power offers a number of possibilities for paying your electric bill. Each one allows you to continue your electrifying ways.
Please note that processing times vary, and if your account is past due, in danger of disconnection, or your service has been disconnected, your safest option is to pay in person.
On October 14, 2019, AMP discontinued its eCare online bill payment system. If you wish to continue to pay or view your electric bill on AMP’s website, or receive a paperless bill, you need to create a new online account on the system.
Use our Online Bill Pay and pay your bill securely, using a credit card (Visa or MasterCard) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Under this program we calculate your average billing over the last 12 months and set up a fixed monthly payment.
Sign up for Paperless Billing and we will send you an email each month letting you know your bill is ready for your review and payment.
Pay your bill the traditional way - by mail.
Pay your bill over the phone using a check or credit/debit card (Visa or MasterCard only) using our free automated service, which is available 24/7.
You can pay in-person during office hours at the Alameda Municipal Power (AMP) Service Center at 2000 Grand Street in Alameda.
Many banks and other financial institutions offer an online bill payment service.
