Until our new Energy inView Customer Portal launches this fall, you can use the following instructions to read your new smart meter.
Rolling displays will appear on the face of the meter. Residential customers will see five displays. Commercial customers will see six displays. The following table lists the code for each display and the meaning of its value.

Non-solar customers should simply see a 0
Maximum Average Load for the day taken over a 15 or 30-minute interval
(Only commercial customers will see this display)

- Watt(W): A measurement of power that describes the rate at which electricity is being used.
- Kilowatt (kW): One kilowatt equals 1,000 watts.
- Kilowatt-hour: (kWh): One hour of using electricity at a rate of 1,000 watts.
